Pale Man

I love the Pale Man, played by Doug Jones in Pan's Labyrinth. When I was younger I used creep my mum out by drawing eyes on the palms of my hands and chasing her around the house, because I was evil like that.

This sofa is revolting

It used to be a normal sofa that died of old age. Now it has come back from the dead to haunt my house. It has the ability to give you lice, steal your personal belongings and get your clothes dirty by sitting on it. If anybody has any advice on how to kill zombie furniture, it would be greatly appreciated.

Obviously the midnight visitor was someone whom the dog knew well

"Is there any point to which you would wish to draw my attention?"
"To the curious incident of the dog in the night-time."
"The dog did nothing in the night-time."
"That was the curious incident," remarked Sherlock Holmes

Taken from Memoirs of Sherlock Holmes, Silver Blaze by Sir Arthur Conan Doyle
Didn't realise that book title was taken from a quote, but I can see why he chose it because it was an awesome piece of writing to come across. Sherlock holmes omnibus my mum bought me when I was 15 is probably one of the best things I own.

English Are Bastards

I have no idea who wrote this terribly spelt graffiti that I found in a train station in the south of France, but I was charmed enough to make it my desktop background for a number of months.

Normally I am not the patriotic sort, but for some self-depricating reason, this graffiti makes me proud to be English? Hooray for being a bastard!

It's an armpit!

Possibly the most intimate-looking picture I've ever taken. People look so different up close.

'Spomenik Revolucije' by Dusan Džamonja in Podgarić

It went viral about a year ago, under various titles such as 25 abandoned yugoslavia monuments that look like they're from the future but I can't get over how much I love this image. It's been taken from the book 'Jan Kempemaers: Spomenik' and I really wish I could afford it. The decay makes it look weirdly beautiful, like a forgotten relic from an ancient civilisation.

The monument was designed by Dusan Džamonja in 1967. After a brief glance at some of his other work I started to realise that his design aesthetic is rather appealing to me, and then after reading a short biography I realised that he died in 2009 aged 80. I always find out about these people way too late.

If I was ever an action-figure buying person, I'd wanna get these
The Thing (1982 version) probs one of my favourite movie monsters. I should probably make a tag for horrifying monsters I'd like to keep as pets. It'd take it for walks and it could eat the creepy blokes that hang out on the end of my street...but then it would have the ability to turn into/perfectly impersonate the blokes from the end of my street...hmm difficult one. Maybe it's better off stuck in the artic circle after all.

EAT ME

Was planning to upload some lovely old doodles but mein scanner ist kaput for now. Here's some lovely drugs instead. The top ones are my dad's and the bottom ones are mostly mine apart from the cocodamol =) I'm jealous because my dad's are more colourful than mine.

ZORK

This is a link to a text-based adventure game called Zork.

I like it! Whenever you go into a dark place, it tells you that it's pitch black and you're likely to be eaten by a grue.

"> what is a grue?
The grue is a sinister, lurking presence in the dark places of the earth. Its favorite diet is adventurers, but its insatiable appetite is tempered by its fear of light. No grue has ever been seen by the light of day, and few have survived its fearsome jaws to tell the tale."

Deffo thinking about getting one as a pet. It can live in my wardrobe <3

Look at this lil guy! He's all rainbow and poofy!
