Joint collaboration project with the brilliant and most fabulous graphic designer and illustrator Lorraine Bennett. Interdisciplinary, bizarre and mostly figurative works ensuing.
- In The Beginning
Creating a mixed-media comic about the origins of the universe using scientific theory within a biblical framework, heavily borrowing from Gothic architecture and paintings.
- Textiles Work
Having practically no experience in textiles previously, I decided to dabble and experiment. What started out as just sewing into paper as a new method of drawing, became hats and lampshades and boxes and canvasses and goodness knows where else it will take me.
- Bowl Project
Last year I inherited my grandfather's hobby kiln after he passed away. After months trying to figure out what to do with it, I'm currently in an ongoing project to make slip-cast ceramic bowls and sell them to raise money for cancer research if all goes according to plan.
- Birds
research building up to a mixed-media canvas as a present for my grandmother based on photographs taken in the British Wildlife Rescue Centre at Amerton Farm. Features some of the work from sketchbooks and the final canvas in different stages of completion.
